This is the international symbol for "pick a card..."

Hehehe. So, Nikki had to work late at Downtown Disney so the other four of us went and saw her during her break. Becca and I haven't been to DD yet, so we got to go through all the stores and such for the first time. Bought lots more DVD's at 40% off, very expensive McDonald's, and some magic tricks.

Magic Masters is a favorite store in DD for Kyle and I, and Becca really likes watching (and sometimes annoying) magicians in general. And then there's Jennifer. Besides her normal shyness, I suspect Jenn does not have a lot of magic interest. That doesn't stop a good magician from pulling her out of the back of the crowd as a "volunteer." Here's an example:

Now, in a different trick, Jenn was just supposed to pick a card as he fanned through the deck. First fan through. Nothing. Second fan through. Nothing. "Ok, Jenn, this is the international symbol for "pick a card." 'Twas quite funny. Now, to sleep. Ta.

"Earning My Ears"

Thats what the ribbon on my nametag says, so when people come up to me for help they know that I'm new to the job. :) 'Nother day of class trainin today. I'll actually be training in the park tomorrow and friday! Can't wait till saturday though...I finally get to sleep in cause i'm not due at work till around noon! I've met a LOT of interesting people. Some are very nice, but some are VERY scary. (Grandma Ann, you were right, btw) One thing I've found to do on the bus rides around here has been a little game I like to call "Name that accent". Some people you don't notice an accent at all, but others have a very distinct one, say for instance the 10+ people I've heard from New York area (Believe it or not, A LOT of people here are from New York...and Michigan...and a few from Texas). I know, I know, to a lot of them I have an accent too. It's just different having so many people from so many places all over the world, all in one place.

Last night I went with Nikki and Kyle and wandered the "streets" of Downtown Disney. It was very colorful and had so many neat souvenir ideas in every shop! Good thing I only brought enough money to eat with, but I'm definitely going back before I leave to find a momento for peeps back home (that is if y'all are good while I'm gone :D ) Here's a couple of random pics I finally uploaded:
