Today, I have wasted 8 hours. How is that any different than any other day you may ask? Instead of watching our new Disney DVD collection of Darkwing Duck, Ducktales, or Tailspin, I got to enjoy the fascinating world of custodial procedure. I learned how to properly clean a blood spill and even how to go about cleaning a "protein spill". The things that took place in class today could have been covered in a couple of hours instead of dragging us through this ongoing ordeal of restroom cleaning procedure. Thanks to today I now know not to bring a frayed broom "onstage", I can not attach light sticks to my broom or pan, and if I want to wear the full body Tyvek suit, there must be a blood spill present. To cap it all off I spent around two hours in front of a computer learning how to properly handle blood, "protein", and even asbestos which is apparently present in Magic Kingdom.
What did I do today that was fun? Well, When I got back from Global, Nikki and I took a short trip to Epcot. I forced her to sit through Spaceship Earth (which everyone should at least ride once as punishment) and then we watched the 3D flick, Honey I Shrunk The Audience which caused the big burly black guy sitting next to Nikki to shriek. Yes, I said shriek, like a little girl. From there we went back home to await a future time to return to experience Mission Space and Test Track.
Judging from the stories I am hearing from the Becca and the Jennifer, the three Custodial Monkeys may need a page of our own just for all of the stories that await us. Thanks for looking and check back often for updates, and when Nikki gets finished arranging the pictures, you can see us at Magic Kingdom!
Until Later,
Kyle
